How the Scoreboard works
The scoreboard shows points for the sides you are tracking. You add points in front of the class. It is the public record for a review game, not a grade.
- Click Scoreboard in the dock.
- Name the sides before the first point.
- Add a point only when the class can see why.
- Pair it with a timer so the game has an end.
- Press Save Board to keep this layout in this browser.
Settings and features
The useful controls are the side names and the points. Reset between games so old points do not leak into the next round.

Ways to use it in class
Review game
Two teams, one point for a correct answer, timer visible. The scoreboard stops you from doing the math in your head while you ask the next question.
Class vs a goal
One side is the class, the other is the target. Quiet work that meets the goal earns a point. This only works if the rule is boring and consistent.
A game you run with other widgets
There is no Hangman, Bingo, or Jeopardy widget. If you run that kind of game with the Text widget, dice, or a quiz, the scoreboard is where the points go.

When not to use it
- Points are standing in for a grade. Do not do that on a projector.
- You need random groups first. Use the Group Maker, then the scoreboard.
- The game has no end. Add a timer.
Accessibility and privacy
Say the score when it changes. Students who cannot see the tile still need the total. Points on this board are not a gradebook and they are not stored as an account. Save Board keeps the layout in this browser.

Is the score a grade?
No. It is a running total for the activity on the screen.
How do I start a new game?
Reset the totals and rename the sides if the teams changed.
Can I run Jeopardy on this?
There is no Jeopardy widget. Put clues in Text or Quiz, points here, and a timer beside them.
