MyClassScreen (“we”, “us”) provides free classroom display tools at myclassscreen.org and the web app at app.myclassscreen.org. This policy explains what data we collect and what we do not.
1. Student data
Students never need accounts. Name lists, scores, and board layouts you enter are intended for teacher use on a projected display. We design the product so classroom audio and student names do not need to be uploaded for core tools to work.
2. Microphone access (noise meter)
The noise meter may request microphone permission to measure ambient volume in real time. Audio is processed locally in your browser and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers. You can revoke microphone access at any time in your browser settings.
3. Teacher accounts
If you create an optional free account to save boards, we store the email address and authentication credentials you provide, plus the board layouts and settings you choose to save. We use this information only to provide the service you requested.
4. Analytics and cookies
The marketing website may use basic hosting and performance logs. We do not sell personal information.
Advertising. Some pages on myclassscreen.org use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on prior visits to this site or other sites. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to your website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

AdSense is loaded only on selected marketing pages (for example home, tools guides, blog, and schools). We do not place AdSense on the board app at app.myclassscreen.org.
5. Children and school compliance
MyClassScreen is intended for teacher-operated classroom displays. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Schools evaluating COPPA, FERPA, or GDPR obligations should note that core projection tools do not require student logins and that microphone data for the noise meter stays on-device.
