How to reach us
The fastest way to reach MyClassScreen is email: support@myclassscreen.org. One address handles support, bugs, school questions and corrections, so you never need to guess which inbox to use.
Include the page address or the board widget your message is about. We reply by email to the address you write from. If your school filters outside mail, check your spam or quarantine folder for our answer.
Before writing, it is worth a quick look at the help centre, which may already have the answer. It covers saving boards, full-screen mode, the microphone and setting up on Chromebooks and interactive panels.
Bug reports: what to include
A good bug report lets us reproduce the problem on our own test devices. Please tell us:
- The device: laptop, Chromebook, iPad or interactive panel, with the brand (Promethean, SMART, ViewSonic or another).
- The browser and its version number, which you can find in the browser's About page (Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox).
- The widget involved, for example the timer, noise meter, name picker or saved boards.
- What you did, step by step, and what happened instead of what you expected.
- A screenshot if you can take one. Please crop out student names first.
If the noise meter is not reacting, say whether the browser asked for microphone permission and whether the device is managed by your school.
Schools and IT requests
IT staff and coaches often ask what the board stores, which addresses to allow and how it behaves on managed devices. Students never sign in, and the noise meter processes sound inside the browser without recording it. The schools page and our privacy policy set this out in detail.
For a rollout question, email us with your device types, panel brand and any filtering or allow-list system your district uses.
Press and corrections
Journalists, bloggers and researchers can use the same address with "Press" in the subject line.
To report an error in a guide, send the page link and what is wrong, ideally with a source. Corrections follow our editorial policy, and material fixes are dated on the page.
