Troubleshooting & Technical Support

Resolve common issues with browser permissions, microphone access, and screen scaling in under five minutes.

Common Issues & Solutions

Most technical issues on MyClassScreen are related to browser permissions or display scaling. Here is how to fix them quickly.

Microphone Access Denied (Noise Meter)

If the Noise Meter bar is grey or doesn't move, your browser is likely blocking microphone access.

How to fix: Click the lock icon next to the URL in your browser's address bar. Find "Microphone" in the menu and switch the permission toggle to Allow. Reload the page for changes to take effect.

Widgets Cut Off / Board Zoom Issues

If widgets overlap or look pixelated, your browser or device zoom setting may be causing scaling issues.

How to fix: Set your browser zoom back to 100% by pressing Ctrl + 0 (or Cmd + 0 on Mac). Make sure you connect your device to the smart board before arranging your widgets.

Saved Boards Not Loading
