Saving Boards & Customizing Backgrounds

Learn how to save custom boards and upload custom backgrounds to keep your morning routines ready to project.

Establishing Your Saved Workspaces

Setting up your widgets every morning shouldn't be part of your daily routine. By saving your screen layouts, you can launch your morning agenda, timers, and list configurations with a single click.

How to Save a Board Layout

Click the Save Icon

Once you have positioned your widgets, click the green Save button in the top right. If you aren't logged in, you will be prompted to sign up for a free teacher account.

Name Your Board

Give your layout a descriptive name (e.g. "Morning Routine", "Math Centers", or "Period 3 Quiz"). This helps you identify and load layouts quickly.

Load or Delete Boards

To load a saved board, open the sidebar settings menu, view your saved list, and select the layout you need. You can also delete old boards using the trash icon.

How to Customize Your Background

A custom background helps make your classroom display more engaging. Here is how to customize your backdrop:

  1. Click the Background Settings gear in the left-hand toolbar menu.
  2. Choose from our pre-selected high-contrast colors, dot grids, or lines.
  3. To upload a custom background, click the Upload block and select an image file (PNG/JPG) from your device.
  4. The background updates instantly on your screen and will be preserved when you save your board.
